The massage therapist is vegan, and so are all the massage supplies! New Moon has a space in NE near the 42nd Ave transit center and can also do chair massage for events, at businesses, parties, etc.
How is a massage vegan?
So, I have had people ask me how massage can be vegan or not vegan... so I am going to write something here to answer that question!
I will start with the oils and lotions. As we all know many lotions can have lanolin or beeswax or other additives that a person might use and not think twice about. I make sure anything that touches your body (this includes linaments) is vegan. Some of them I mix myself and if it is something I purchased, I call the company to check on the ingredients.
I do not use any sheets, blankets or table covers that include wool.
Also I have been vegan for 15 years and vegetarian for 17 years. So the money you pay to me for your massage is not going to be spent on any animal products! Hooray!
So you can truly relax when you come in for a cruelty free massage!
